Carbon copy t.l.s. from Martial D. Maling of the Maine Historical Society to Lewis O. Barrows of Newport, Me., regarding the society's attempt to update the holdings of the John S.H. Fogg collection (Coll. 420) with autographs of governors after 1879 (after Alonzo Garcelon); Barrows response with a black and white photograph portrait only(with signature on the bottom), with response from Maling, requesting an autograph letter. Lewis then wrote Maling a letter, with signature.
